Additionally, NYC is full of job opportunities and the wages there are more than enough to make up for the high cost of living and rent prices. And while we wouldn’t recommend buying an apartment here, if you still decide to buy a place you should know what to look for in an apartment.
Plano, Texas
If you’re interested in more spacious apartments, then Plano, Texas is the place for you. While the rent here isn’t too low, at an average of $1,558 monthly, the apartments are both big and beautiful. So, if you can stand the Texas heat, you should consider looking into Plano. Additionally, if you’re interested in an apartment with a newer kitchen or a gym, most apartments in Plano come with one. A third of all apartments in the city have a stainless-steel kitchen, while 90% of apartments come with a gym. Most importantly however, neither of these commodities will affect the price too much here, while in other cities having a gym would jack up the price. Also, most apartments in Plano allow pets. If you’re someone who likes to get some fresh air, 92% of apartments in Lincoln are within a 10-minute walk from a park. One of the only drawbacks is that only 64% of apartments allow pets in Lincoln. So, if you’re someone who likes animals, you might have a hard time finding an apartment. Gilbert, Arizona
If you can stand the heat, Gilbert is a city with numerous advantages for renters.
